There is lots to do in and around Amble, but it is also the ideal base from which to explore all that Northumberland has to offer. Both the Northumberland Coastal Path and Route 1 of the National Cycle Network pass  through the town. As well    as enjoying all  the  fun of    being by the seaside, you can travel:
North to Warkworth, Craster, Beadnell, Seahouses, Bamburgh, Lindisfarne /Holy Island and  Berwick-upon-Tweed; South to Low Hauxley, Druridge Bay, Cresswell, Newbiggin-by-the-Sea, Blyth, Whitley Bay  and Newcastle-upon-Tyne: West to Alnwick, Rothbury/Northumberland National Park, Morpeth, Hexham /Hadrian’s Wall and Kielder Water & Forest Park.
